IVE troubleshooting tips and tricks

Interactive Visual Explorer might time out sooner than your specified timeout settings. The IVE default timeout is 1 hour. Make sure to frequently save your visual board.
Making changes to a visual board increases the cache. When the cache fills up, it is unable to accept any more changes and you receive an error. To avoid this situation, frequently save your visual board.
If you are working on a visual board at the same time the reporting area data is being updated, the data in an open visual board does not refresh. In this circumstance, you can refresh the data manually.
To to the canvas menu and select Refresh Data. The most up-to-date data appears in the visual board.
Report names must be unique between ICRW and IVE. If you create an IVE visual board with the same name as an ICRW report, you receive a notification that the name already exists in ICRW.
Enter a unique name that does not exist in ICRW.
