Other updates to Fixed Assets Management

This release includes the following updates to improve flexibility, efficiency, and visibility.

Switch between Revert and Reverse configurations

You can now switch between the Revert and Reverse correction treatment options at any time. Changes apply only to future transactions. Existing transactions continue to follow the correction treatment that was in effect when they were processed. Previously, selecting Reverse was permanent and you couldn’t switch back to Revert.

Import from the Asset list

Start your imports from the same place that you manage your assets. You can now access the Import Service directly from the Assets list to create or update assets. Previously, importing was only available from the Company Setup Checklist.

How it works

1. Go to Fixed Assets Management > All > Assets.

2. Select Import.

3. Select the Create or Update tab.

View parent-child hierarchy in the Assets list

Quickly understand asset hierarchies without opening individual asset records. You can now view parent-child asset relationships directly in the Assets list.

How it works

1. Assign a parent asset to one or more child assets.

2. On the Assets list, select Display hierarchy.
