New ICRW and IVE reporting areas

Reporting areas for Interactive Custom Report Writer (ICRW) and Interactive Visual Explorer (IVE) have been enhanced to provide improved tracking and management of Construction projects.

Work order relationships: Work order is now included as a related record in the following reporting areas that have Work Order ID and Name fields:

• AP adjustment detail

• AP AP purchase invoice detail

• Change request entry

• Employee expense detail

• General Ledger detail

• GL budget

• GL entry

• AR sales invoice detail

• Order Entry transaction detail

• Project contract line detail

• Project detail report

• Project estimate entry

• Purchase order transaction detail

• Timesheet entry

How it works

One of the first things you do when you create an ICRW report or IVE visualization is to select a reporting area. A reporting area correlates data objects that provide specialized options. You can select the options you want to include in your report or visualization, customizing it to your needs.

1. Review the Reporting areas reference for descriptions of available reporting areas to determine which one provides the data best suited for your report.

2. Follow the instructions in Selecting a reporting area for ICRW or Create visualizations in IVE.
