How it works
Sage HCM connects every stage of the employee lifecycle in a single, unified platform. When a candidate is hired through the recruiting process, their record is carried forward into HR onboarding automatically, with no duplicate data entry in Sage HCM. In HR, employee information, such as job title, pay rate, deductions, and cost centers, flows directly into payroll processing, so payroll batches are built on current, accurate data.
Time and attendance data captured through physical time clock devices, or the Sage HCM mobile app, or manager-entered schedules fed into payroll at the close of the period. Employees can view and request changes to their schedules, submit leave request, and access pay stubs and HR documents through the Self-Service portal, reducing administrative load on HR teams.
Manager workflows are enabled by role and department. Approval chains for timesheets, leave, expense claims, and performance reviews are routed to the right managers automatically. Notifications are sent through the platform and by email.
Sage HCM integrates with leading ERP systems and project management platforms, including Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP ERP, IFS ERP, Unanet, and Procore. HR and payroll data flows effortlessly across your enterprise. These connections support real-time syncing of time entries, payroll journals, employee profiles, project and task data, and financial dimensions.
