Bookmarks

Bookmarks in Sage Intacct work much like bookmarks in other products, letting you quickly jump to frequently-used tasks and views. You can bookmark any page to which you have access and open it from anywhere in Intacct. You can create, edit, or delete bookmarks as applicable.

Bookmarks are different from favorites in that bookmarks can take you to specific transactions or records. Favorites apply to menu options and open pages such as transaction lists, task pages, or reports.

Add a bookmark

  1. Navigate to the page of interest. For example, say you frequently need information about the Express Bank vendor. Open the Vendor information page for Express Bank.
  2. Select Bookmarks in the top-right portion of the navigation bar. A drop-down list appears.
  3. Select Bookmark this page.
    Intacct creates the bookmark and places it in the dropdown list under the bookmark icon. You can now access this page from any location in the company.
  1. Select Bookmarks in the top-right portion of the navigation bar.
  2. In the dropdown, select the appropriate bookmark. The bookmarked page appears.

Change the name of a bookmark

You can change the name of a bookmark to make it more meaningful to you.

  1. Select Bookmarks in the top-right portion of the navigation bar.
  2. Select Edit beside the desired bookmark. The Update bookmark window appears.
  3. Enter the new name for the bookmark and select Save.

Delete a bookmark

  1. Select Bookmarks in the top-right portion of the navigation bar.
  2. Select Delete (Trash can) beside the bookmark you want to delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion if requested.
