Import and export application tokens for translation with ease

In the global business environment, having simple translation options for the applications that you develop can increase user adoption. Now you can import and export application tokens using our new Platform feature.

Details

This release we have a streamlined method for you to import and export the application tokens that you need to translate. The feature includes:

• Enhanced efficiency that reduces manual effort and errors.
• Easy-to-use interface and selection options.

• Option to import or export all tokens for a selected language.

• Several languages and locales from which to choose, including:

  • English (Australia)

  • English (United States)

  • English (United Kingdom)

  • English (South Africa)

  • French (France)

  • French (Canada - Beta)

  • German (Germany)

  • Spanish (Spain - Beta)

How it works

1. Go to the Platform Services > Applications.
2. Select an application that's not already installed.

Ensure that Installed is not selected.

3. Depending on what you want to do, you can either import or export labels.



• If you select Export, you can choose the source and target languages for translation.



• If you select Import, you simply select a .csv file with the tokens that you want to import. A confirmation message appears when the import is complete.
